Os prefeitos das duas cidades acompanharam a visita e explicaram todo o funcionamento do sistema.<br \/>Segundo Cecconello, a Prefeitura Municipal de Passo Fundo tem o intuito de ativar o sistema de parqu\u00edmetro at\u00e9 o in\u00edcio de 2012. \u201cNos pr\u00f3ximos dias o prefeito Airton Dipp vai publicar um decreto com as normas legais de funcionamento do novo estacionamento, para depois realizarmos a licita\u00e7\u00e3o para contrata\u00e7\u00e3o da empresa respons\u00e1vel pela instala\u00e7\u00e3o dos equipamentos\u201d, afirmou.<br \/>O novo sistema ir\u00e1 facilitar o estacionamento onde h\u00e1 linha azul no centro da cidade, onde o motorista colocar\u00e1 moedas no aparelho, que indicar\u00e1 o tempo que o carro poder\u00e1 ficar ali estacionado.
