Dentro da s\u00e9rie de encontros que ser\u00e3o promovidos com a comunidade, o secret\u00e1rio de Esportes, Gilberto Bellaver, conversou com os alunos do Col\u00e9gio Bom Conselho, expondo o planejamento para o revezamento e um pouco da hist\u00f3ria dos Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00c9 muita honra e responsabilidade ter a chance de receber o maior s\u00edmbolo ol\u00edmpico e fazer uma festividade em comemora\u00e7\u00e3o a esse fato. A cidade celebra\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 a hospedeira da chama Ol\u00edmpica e Passo Fundo estar\u00e1, no dia 3 de julho, nos olhos de todo o mundo\u201d, revela o secret\u00e1rio.<br \/>A tocha Ol\u00edmpica ser\u00e1 acesa na cidade de Ol\u00edmpia, na Gr\u00e9cia, e em maio come\u00e7a a percorrer o Brasil. No Rio Grande do Sul, Passo Fundo \u00e9 uma das cidades que receber\u00e1 o revezamento. Os jogos Ol\u00edmpicos do Brasil ocorrem no dia 5 de agosto, na cidade do Rio de Janeir,o onde ser\u00e3o disputadas 306 provas com medalhas sendo 161 na categoria masculinas, 136 femininas e 9 mistas, divididos em 42 modalidades em 28 esportes.
