O Conselho Municipal das Pessoas com Defici\u00eancia (COMPEDE) foi criado pela Lei n\u00ba 4370\/2007<\/a>. O referido conselho municipal tem car\u00e1ter deliberativo, consultivo, fiscalizador e propositivo da pol\u00edtica municipal das pessoas com defici\u00eancia, visando proporcionar e assegurar o pleno exerc\u00edcio dos direitos individuais e sociais da pessoa humana.

Compete ao COMPEDE propor ao gestor municipal as prioridades a serem inclu\u00eddas no planejamento do munic\u00edpio referente \u00e0s pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas de investimentos e a\u00e7\u00f5es que visem proteger e garantir os direitos das pessoas com defici\u00eancia. Em s\u00edntese, cabe ao COMPEDE proporcionar as pessoas com defici\u00eancia a efetiva\u00e7\u00e3o dos seus direitos, promovendo medidas que possibilitem a aplicabilidade legal protetiva pertinente. Ao mesmo tempo, deve promover campanhas de conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o referente \u00e0s pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas de direitos e demais dispositivos legais destinados \u00e0s pessoas com defici\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
