O Conselho Municipal de Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o Escolar (CAE) foi criado pela Lei no 3103\/1996. O referido conselho municipal tem car\u00e1ter fiscalizador, deliberativo e de assessoramento, devendo ter o suporte administrativo da Secretaria de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o com a finalidade de acompanhar, fiscalizar e controlar a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o dos recursos destinados ao Programa de Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o Escolar do Munic\u00edpio de Passo Fundo. Compete, portanto, ao CAE acompanhar e fiscalizar a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o destes recursos destinados a alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o escolar zelando pela qualidade dos alimentos, em especial quanto \u00e0s condi\u00e7\u00f5es higi\u00eanicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Destaca-se que os card\u00e1pios dos programas de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o escolar devem ser elaborados pela nutricionista respons\u00e1vel t\u00e9cnica (PNAE), em acordo com o referido Conselho respeitando os h\u00e1bitos alimentares de cada localidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ao CAE tamb\u00e9m cabe receber o relat\u00f3rio anual de gest\u00e3o do Programa Nacional de Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o Escolar (PNAE) e emitir parecer conclusivo a respeito, aprovando ou reprovando a execu\u00e7\u00e3o do Programa no munic\u00edpio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
